Windows Update - All versions

The most convenient way to maintain the system up-to-date is going through Start> All Programs> Windows Update.

Once on the website, you will be offered only the necessary updates.

However, quite a large number of users encounter difficulties during the installation of updates (repeated failures, endless downloads, etc.).

Using Internet Explorer to Windows Update to get the list of available updates. It may be limited to critical updates (References are KBxxxxxx or Qxxxxxx).

Note that: only the Internet Explorer browser is accepted!

Close Windows Update and go to the Download Center: Windows Update Official Website

Search the list of downloads (warning: some updates have the same reference for different systems, choose the correct version) and download them one by one into a temporary directory.

Restart your PC Safe Mode (the system processes that may sometimes block the updates will not be loaded) and install updates. It is not necessary to reboot your PC each time an update request it,

Restart in normal mode once you have installed all the updates.
