　　The Honor 10 has been announced and it's going on sale for £399 this week.

　　Available to buy today unlocked and SIM-free, the Honor 10 is available in a number of colours, and only in a 128GB storage variant from Honor carphone warehouse, Argos, Amazon, AO, Very and Three UK. There's also a 64GB version, priced at €399.99, but this won't be coming to the UK.

　　Three UK has got dibs on the Honor 10 and will be selling for no up front costs on 4GB and 30GB data plans for £31/month and £40/month, but you won't be able to order until Thursday the 17th of May.

　　Honor 10: Specifications and features

　　Much like previous phones in the Honor range, the Honor 10 takes some of the key features from parent company Huawei's recent flagships, and repackages everything in a fun (and cheaper) frame.

　　The Honor 10 apes the algorithm-assisted camera features of the Mate 10 and P20 ranges, which means it’ll automatically detect certain photo subjects - like flowers, cats, meals, friends, sunsets - and adjust the camera settings accordingly, so you don’t have to mess around with ISO, exposure values and shutter speeds.

　　Honor says that its Semantic Image Segmentation technology - which apparently lets the phone identify multiple objects in the same image - is an industry first; how this differs from what the Huawei P20 Pro already does is another thing.

　　For your money you also get a 5.84-inch Full HD+ (2,240x1,080) display which, like every phone out there these days, features a notch.

　　You also get the same Kirin 970 octo core CPU powering everything, 4GB of RAM and clever algorithms that keep track of your app usage to make sure that phone performance is optimised.

　　The battery isn't quite as big and you also don't get the signature three lens camera of the P20 Pro, but for your money you get 3,400 - not as big as the P20 Pro's 4,000mAh cell, but more than enough to last you a day.
